Piano recital, Victor Maslov
Award-winning Russian pianist Victor Maslov will be playing at St Cuthbert's Church, West Hampstead, Fordwych Road, London NW2 3TN, to raise funds and awareness for the Raymond Nicolet Trust on Friday 31st May 2024 from 7.30pm until 9pm.
Coming of an eminent musical family Victor gave his first concert performance at the age of nine. He studied initially at the Gnessin Moscow Special School of Music, and also took masterclasses with the great Dmitry Bashkirov. International recognition came fully ten years ago with a concert at New York’s Carnegie Hall, where he was acclaimed for the breath of his mastery of the repertoire. Indeed, listening closely to his recordings reveals the depth of empathy for the singular properties of composition in all the main historical idioms: baroque, romantic and modernist. In the last decade he has played with numerous major orchestras internationally and won many piano competitions, a rise crowned by his winning the Moscow Rachmaninov piano competition in 2020.
Victor currently holds the prestigious Carne Trust Fellowship at the Royal College of Music in London where he is studying with Professor D. Alexeev and V. Latarche. It is a distinctive feature of this Fellowship that the holder is an ambassador for the college and contributes to its life and public profile in diverse ways.

Награђивани руски пијаниста Виктор Маслов свираће у цркви Светог Катберта, West Hampstead, Fordwych Road, London NW2 3TN, како би подигао свест и прикупио средства за Реимонд Николет Траст у петак, 31. маја 2024. од 19.30 до 21.00.
Пореклом из еминентне музичке породице Виктор је свој први концерт одржао са девет година. У почетку је студирао у Московској специјалној музичкој школи Гњесин, а похађао је и мајсторске курсеве код великог Дмитрија Башкирова.
Међународно признање у потпуности је стигло пре десет година концертом у њујоршком Карнеги Холу, где је хваљен величиним његовог мајсторства репертоаром. Заиста, пажљиво слушање његових изведби открива дубину емпатије према јединственим својствима композиције у свим главним историјским идиомима: барокном, романтичном и модернистичком. Током протекле деценије свирао је са бројним великим међународним оркестрима и победио на многим пијанистичким такмичењима, а успон је крунисао победом на Московском Рахмањинов пијанистичком такмичењу 2020. године.
Виктор тренутно носи престижну стипендију Clarke Trust на Краљевском музичком колеџу у Лондону. Посебна карактеристика ове стипендије је то што је њен носилац амбасадор колеџа и на различите начине доприноси његовом животу и јавном профилу.
Велико му хвала што је изабрао нашу добротворну организацију и велико хвала цркви Светог Катберта што је домаћин догађаја.
