The Regent’s Park 10K

The team from the RNT are running the Regent’s Park 10K race to raise money for children!

Please come and support us on Sunday 14th November, when Fiaz, Vas, Lucas, Christine will be wearing fancy dress costumes whilst running to raise money for education in Serbia.

Christine will be racing for the finisher's medal and the men will be trying to keep up, around Regent's Park beautiful rose gardens, open-air theatre and boating lake. The tree-lined avenues within the park are dotted with cafes, statues, and fountains. At the centre is London Zoo which houses tigers, penguins, and gorillas. Elegant stucco terraces designed by Regency architect John Nash line the Outer Circle road, which is also home to the golden-domed London Central meeting hall.

It is a huge challenge for the men as they have just taken on this challenge and are pretty unprepared. We hope your support and donations will motivate them to complete the race but also to help them get through the training needed to build their fitness in the short time they have. They will run in fancy dress and need the crowds’ support to get around.

“Every penny counts, and every penny goes to the children in Serbia. Our target is £1,000 so we will need every ones’ help to finish this race” says Fiaz.
