Catherine studied Greek Literature at the Democritus University of Thrace and completed her Master’s in Ancient History, Culture and Civilization. She currently works as a philologist in high schools and as a historical researcher for the Greek government. 

Catherine is an active member of the board of an Urban Non-profit Organization in Thessaloniki, where they design and implement European programs (e.g. Erasmus) and local actions. She focuses mainly on the concepts of interculturality, equality, inclusion and anti-racism and stereotypes. She promotes humanism and the value of volunteering.

Catherine is also an amateur actor with a great interest in establishing educational plays and activities based on empathy and experiential learning to eliminate discrimination and integrate minorities into mainstream school. She will implement her vast knowledge in educational programs for the children in Serbia and organise fundraising events in Greece for the charity.
