The Raymond Nicolet Trust is raising funds to finance projects in 3 different schools and institutions in Serbia.

The Raymond Nicolet Trust (RNT) is organizing an Art Competition on the theme of:

“Which new skill(s) did you learn during isolation #stayathome due to the COVID-19 pandemic?”

An impressive collective 3D model of their "Ideal School" has been realized by 17 children of the class CM2 of the School “Ecole Elémentaire Leclerc” of Mundolsheim, France.

Please take time to review the below sample of the lovely drawings created by the children of the Perachora Primary School in Loutraki, the Primary School in Taxiarhis Halkidiki and the 12th Primary School in Xanthi, all in Greece as entries to the drawing competition organized by the Raymond Nicolet Trust on the theme of “Describe your ideal school”.

Sadly, we have to postpone the Raymond Nicolet Trust second gala dinner scheduled on the 23rd May at Queens’ College, Cambridge until further notice due to the current pandemic.

Given the current situation we are in with regards to the global pandemic of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we would like to inform you that we have to postpone our Belgrade fund-raising event, which was due to take place on 25th of March at the Vuk Karadzic Cultural Center in Belgrade.

The Raymond Nicolet received a very warm message of thank you from the three students enrolled at the Lingua school, Sombor, who won a prize at our latest drawing competition on the subject of “Describe your ideal school”.

On Tuesday 3rd March, Christine Fort-Hilcenko visited the Alliance Française in Cambridge to talk to the children and some of their parents about the actions of the charity, and to congratulate the winners of the drawing competition organized by the Trust.

We held a cake sale at the LMB Laboratory of Molecular Biology on Monday 2nd March 2020 to raise funds and awareness for the Trust.

Christine completed the Cambridge Boundary Run Half-Marathon in preparation of the forthcoming two full marathons, Paris and Ely.

Nenad has now completed another three races out of his extensive and challenging race list for the year.

On Saturday 22nd February, the Raymond Nicolet Trust and the Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj school from Pancevo organized a beautiful exhibition of the drawings of all children who participated in the competition in the Milorad Bate Mihajlovic Gallery, Pancevo.

A huge thank to Serbian journalist Stevan Zizic from TV Srece Sombor for his wonderful TV coverage of our drawing competition prize giving ceremony in Sombor held on Wednesday 19th February at the “Karlo Bjelicki” library.

On Wednesday 19th February, The Raymond Nicolet Trust organized a beautiful exhibition of drawings of the children of the ''Avram Marazovic'' school and the Lingua School in Sombor, as well as of the ''Posavski Parizani'' school in Obrovac.

On Wednesday 20th February, Christine Fort-Hilcenko, one of the founder of the Raymond Nicolet Trust presented a cheque of £2000 to the Vuk Karadzic Center, Sombor, Serbia as part of the support agreement between the school and the Raymond Nicolet Trust.
